1) The beginning of this movie is real tight. All the parts where little Michael makes it rain on his family are all good and even the scenes where he's in the hospital when he's a kid are good. Top notch shit.
2) The macro problem with the movie is that it goes on for far too long. There's a bunch of scenes where he's chasing Laurie around that string like 4 halloween movies into one. They go into the basement that's on Halloween 5 and she sees him with his mask off (Halloween 4). It wouldn't be that big of a problem but it just drags on and on and there's a second movie that could've just incorporated it.
Still one of the best halloweens,
