1) It's better than the rest of the recent remakes. Everyone probably got bored of all the remakes in the late 80s but this was the first one in awhile so it didn't have some jitsu storyline.
2) it's pretty spooky. The scene with mom and her kid in the highway bathroom scared the hell out of me the first time I saw it.
3) The intro's tight. That kid from 10 things I hate about you gets a skate dinged into his head. And when the police officers are talking about Michael and the Halloween music starts is badass.
4) LL Cool J's in it.
Really good, but maybe I've seen it too many times for me to put it up there with the new Friday the 13th.
A and probably better than the new Halloween remake. #yeahbuddy
